The Purple One

This original acrylic on canvas is the second in this summer hydrangea series.   The photo was taken by me at the Chester Church of Christ, right here in Chester VA.   I love the perspective of the inside of the bush.   This is a 16X16 inch canvas 1.5 inches thick, and edges are finished off with monotone gray colors in a simple stencil design for added interest.
